About T.O.G.E.T.H.E.R. Youth

Overview

The Taunton T.O.G.E.T.H.E.R. Youth Program promotes social and emotional learning for young people. Participants will learn valuable life skills around:

  • Self and social awareness

  • Self-management

  • Responsible decision-making

  • Relationship skills

Dates: Monday July 8th through Friday August 16th
Program Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Cost: Free. Breakfast and lunch provided by Taunton Public Schools
Location: Martin Middle School - 131 Caswell St, East Taunton, MA 02718
Eligibility: Children must be a minimum of 6 years of age. Participants need to be 130% of poverty level or receive SNAP benefits or be covered by MassHealth. You only need to meet one of these requirements to qualify.

Daily Schedule

8:30 am: Parent Drop Off/Start of Breakfast

9 - 10 am: Morning Wellness Check/Foundational Warm-Up

10 - 11 am: Introduction of Sport/Play

11 - 11:45 am: Lunch

11:45 - 12:45 pm: SEL/Educational Activity

12:45 - 1:45 pm: Games/Free Play/Large Group Play

1:45 - 2:45 pm: Interactive Education - Small group

2:45 - 3:15 pm: Clean Up and Wrap Up

3:15 - 3:30 pm: Departure of Youth

T.O.G.E.T.H.E.R. Curriculum

is based on S.E.L. (social emotional learning), specially designed for T.O.G.E.T.H.E.R. with strategies on relationship building, self-care, mindfulness, conflict resolution, C.O.R. wellness techniques and other life-long skills educating our children and youth, giving them lifelong tools to be a better version of themselves.
